Port of Seattle is upgrading the Satellite Transit System (STS) Controls that run the North and South Loop APM system. Triunity is providing communications and electrical design services, as well as technical oversight, for the construction of a fiber optic network supporting the ATC system. In addition to fiber optic design, our team is managing the architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing subconsultants that together will provide complete design and construction package for the new fiber optic and controls room. The project will provide a new control room for Automated Train Control (ATC) system with new Electrical lighting, power panels with backup power, fire detection, fire sprinkler and HVAC.

The scope of work also includes design for approximately 2 miles of fiber optic cabling and associated raceway, communications cabinets/racks, replacement of tunnel lighting fixtures, power panels and electrical conductors. Triunity performed site investigation, review of existing drawings and documentation, code and permit review and permit application.
