Triunity is providing SUE and utility coordination as part of a Design/Build scope with Ames Construction to expand a 3 mile stretch of 56th Ave. from 2 lanes to 4. Supported by Ames, Triunity oversaw over 400 utility test holes and modeled approximate 50,000 LF of utilities, including 30” and 42” waterlines, 42” and 48” sanitary mains, a 20” high pressure gas main, a 6” high pressure fuel line, and a multi-duct fiber optic facility, allowing the design team to develop a plan that minimized and avoided a significant number of utility conflicts that otherwise would have caused significant delays to the project and dramatically increased the project cost.
